Zoë's haunting voice combines with Alan's virtuoso guitar playing and deep musical insights to bring a fresh approach to well-known and less familiar pieces. The set is rounded out with a chilling Irish ballad and
a handful of Alan's original works for guitar. Completing the line-up are some of Scotland's most skilful instrumentalists from classical and folk traditions.

Alan (guitarist, arranger, reviewer and blogger) and Zoë (singer and songwriter) have been performing Burns for several years at Suppers, festivals and conferences; such as the Commonwealth Forestry Conference and the 2009 Homecoming Closing Ceremony.
